Out of all the weapons are ancient ancestors used to hunt I find myself most fascinated with the throwing variety. Every single group of indigenous peoples had some sort of throwing stick or throwing weapon. A while ago I ran a raffle $20 got you a ticket to win the chance at potentially getting a stick made by me out of the finest Oregon oak. Well, I realize there's enough wood in the piece I have for two throwing sticks, so I'm going to run another raffle here are photos of the first blank that I just cut out.
